Facebook Introduces Groups For Schools

On April 11, Facebook introduced Groups for Schools,  which allow people with an active school email address to join groups at their college or university. However, you must have  an active “.edu” email address to join groups.

Interestingly, Facebook has also added a file-sharing feature that allow students to collaborate on projects such as lecture notes, schedules or group assignments. Groups for Schools will gradually be rolling out to colleges and universities around the world. You can sign up to find out when it will be available at your school.

Znet has raised legal issues with student’s file sharing work on Facebook. Read the complete article here.
